personally - i'm a die hard SATC fan - so i can't believe that some people haven't seen it.

Season 1 really was shot differently. they had those little blurbs where they talked to a few people in the first couple episodes....that was odd

and then season 6 was shot differently - more like a quality program with filters on the lens and all that ...(my FAVORITE season by the way).

i can't wait for the movie to come out!

I'm getting more and more nervous about the movie with every interview/article I read/hear about it. I don't want anything sad to happen to my SATC girls!

ilanac13 -- I hated the way the first season of SATC was shot, but all TV shows are still trying to find their footing in the first season. Thank goodness they realized that wasn't the best way to shoot it.

I know isn't it weird to see how the series evolved over the seasons?
Also One and Two focused more on particular situations the girls would find themselves in, where later it became more about the characters. (And the fashion!)

Personally Three is my fav. THe Carrie/Adian/Big triangle, and I liked the fashion (and SJP's hair) best in Three.

They used that method of talking to the camera for the first season and a couple episodes in the second season. It was sooo annoying.
The first season of Sex and the City (especially the pilot) was very different from the rest of the series but it sets up the premise for the show.
I personally liked seasons 2 & 3 the best.

Season 3 - No ifs ands or butts, Drama Queens, Easy Come Easy Go, Running with Scissors, Sex and Another City
Season 4 - The Agony and the Extasy, Belles of the Balls, Coulda Woulda Shoulda, Change of a Dress, I Heart NY
Season 5 - Luck be an Old Lady, The Big Journey, I Love a Charade
Season 6 - Hop Skip and a Week, The Post-It Always Sticks Twice, Boy Interrupted, One, and an American Girl in Paris part Deux

The slide show makes me want to watch the entire series again before the movie comes out!!
I'm so excited, love this show!
